Now that I've moved to a house with a decent-sized yard, I'd like to grow a few fig trees? Does anyone know anyone in the High Point/Greensboro area that sells fig trees? What varieties should I look for?

I am in NC and have a little collection of some nice trees. What kind(s) do you want? I am about 4 hours away from you though shipping is always an option. :) __________________ Wish list: Galicia Negra, Violetta, Violette de Sollies, Dan_la's Black Beauty 10, Craven's Craving, Most important: YOUR FAVORITE FIG. A lot of people put emphasis on popular/exotic cultivars, which is great because it highlights some of the better fig varieties; however, I am most interested in the figs our members love regardless of pedigree. Currently Growing: a bunch of varieties.

If you are in the Cary, NC area (near Raleigh) I can provide you with brown turkey, black mission, a cool wild fig variety and hopefully soon - Celeste. I just got into figs two years ago and my starter trees are very small - look me up in April when I have taken them out of the garage and they are ready to go in the ground __________________ Tad Einloth
