Hey Paully here is Ronde i mention about itsd growth.
Last season is grew out of its fig pants , then heavily damaged this spring perhaps not hardened off by me as i did not expect this type of growth last season and should have taken measure later in season with it.
I know better this season with new Ronde.
I show last season ronde and this seasons damage to it along with its new growth.
Then i show new plant and its growth habit, i topped (nip) main trunk and will have to do it more as its already showing new growth at tip once again which is expected.

The dates in picture are accurate. ; )

1,- Last season Ronde (last year) with a few figs on plant
2,- Last season Ronde damage (this year)
3 Last season Ronde coming back (this year)
4 Replacement Ronde
5 Replacement Ronde Growth

Jealous!  Mine didn't really wake up this year.  I was thinking about planting on my back deck (potted), but might end up planting Gino's Black, Bethlehem Black or Carolina Dark instead.
