Have any of you had success with these cuttings?   This tree remains my most aggressive grower and most prolific producer.   For those of you that are growing them...would love to know how they're doing for you.

Aloha, Dave!  Send me a couple cuttings and I'll let you know how they do here in a similar climate ;)

I don't know how green cuttings would ship my friend,  but I suspect not too well. Temps here are into the hundreds, and they would be sitting in an enclosed UPS  trailer down in Phoenix  for some time.

Hit me up in the Fall.

I sent a bunch out a year and a half ago.  Anybody have luck with them?

Nice tree.  What a beautiful blue sky.  You rarely see it that clear and blue here.

Ugh!  In the hundreds? Yeah, Autumn sounds like a good time.  For a second there I thought your signature line read "Death Valley" :)  Now that's some heat there.

Awesome Brent.

The little tree you sent me is a beautiful broad leafed 5 feet tall and wide with 15-20 brebas and twice that many little main crop figs forming.  I went to pvc irrigation on the trees, but am making good use of your drip tape in my berry patch.  It's the prettiest tree in my yard.  (I'd post pics, but we got a new computer and haven't figured out how to do it yet).

Be sure to let me know if you like the figs.

Glad to hear it Dave, I am surprised that Easton Purple is making brebas, mine has a couple this season also in spite of a trunk chop.

I just put all of my containers on irrigation using an old spider system and Toro pot spray stakes, I love that new irrigation sound ; )

I hope I like these Havasu brebas because I have so many, it certainly is a record for me!

Awesome, Bob.

Hope you guys like them.  I think you will.  They have been my favorite so far, for size, taste, and the fact that they put out so much fruit.

Dave,

I rooted one cutting and kept some in the fridge. Very nice grower, in one gal pot now, enjoying the SoCal sun.

No figs yet but I am sure will be soon. Thanks!

Dave the one you gave me last year is doing good. It suffered some frost damage over the winter but has bounced back strong. It is growing multiple stems from the ground. The leaves are dark green and healthy. It is continuing to grow through the summer heat we are now in. I see tiny bumps starting above some of the leaves so I'm hoping to get fruit from it this year.

Makes me wish I had been into figs when I was exiled... ahem... chosen to represent my university at IHS in Parker, AZ a little over a year ago.

Dave it grew great and produced wonderful fruits but it did not survive the polar vortex even in an unheated greenhouse.

Thanx for the opportunity.
