My pomegranates are all leafing out but nothing on the fig or grapes yet. I can't wait. We will be in the low 80's for the next week and over 50 at night. Any time now...

And I still have 3.5 months to the frost free date here.  Thankfully Spring will start to show up around the beginning of April.... well usually anyway.

So happy to see it creeping in somewhere.

I think those pictures classify as cruel and unusual punishment. It's a balmy 3 here today with more snow coming this weekend. UGH!

RIMike,

I agree with you, they are torturing us with these pictures. It was 0 when I got up this morning.

Not sure where I'm going to put the snow from this weekends storm, the snow banks around my driveway are over 4 feet tall.

Yeah - my garlic bed is under about 3 feet of snow. My dog even hates it - it's about 1 inch of ice on top of the snow beneath. He looks like a duck walking around out there.

Well, guys, your snow now means water later, you just need to wait a little.
Here in Los Angles we have no snow and hardly any rain. It is bone dry. You must irrigate or plant cacti. The figs do very well in this climate and I try to advertise heavily among my neighbors. It is a great backup and I am a popular guy :)
