This evening I was cruising various fig sources and came across this site:
http://www.aaronsfarm.com/

What is bothering me is that their site looks very similar to that of TyTy, even using some of the same YouTube videos and photos.  They also have the same area code as TyTy, but different address/phone #/fax #.   Prices are a bit different also.

Not that I am considering ordering from them, but I was wondering if Aaron's is related or affiliated with TyTy.   Anyone???

Many have said they 'ARE' or are associated with TYTY.

Okay, while looking at http://www.nafex.org/supply_source.htm I found a great list of Nursery/Source info on NAFEX's page.  They also suggest that we check The Garden Watchdog to see if there is information about a nursery that you should be aware of.   When I went to Garden Watchdog, it took me to Dave's Garden site and I scrolled down to the BROWSE BY FIRST LETTER section, and per the feedback/info listed regarding Aaron's Nursery, they are in fact a TyTy entity.

Thought the website and photos looked too much like TyTy.

Caution fellow fig-sters.   And hopefully everyone can make use of the Garden Watchdog info.

What I know about them I learned from their YouTube videos and that is--Those people are scary WIERD!  They make me feel normal.  :)  I find them very creepy.  I wouldn't want anything to do with them.

That is scary that they have so many DBA's.  Wonder how many BBB complaints have been filed.  Was just weird, came across the Aaron's Nursery site and I was like....where have I seen this page, these photos, these videos, the same plant offerings with same description.  BINGO  TyTy.    Thanks for all that info Jason.

I paid the thugs at Arrons (aka ty ty) over two hundred bucks for an order they never shipped.   I used a debit card, and they failed to ship and they failed to send a refund after seven or eight phone calls and two letters over a six month period.

The lied to the Georgia Better Business Bureau after I filed a complaint with them, saying they would refund my payment.   Only after I filed a complaint with the Georgia Attorney General's Office did the finally send me a check.

All told...it took about a year to get my money back.

Havn't had any problems with them since then.   Of course...I don't do business with them any more either.
