Sad day for me

Today my Mother pasted away at the age of 93. We all knew her time was short, but the call from my brother this morning still left me in shock. I was walking out of the house to go visit her when he called. Now she rest in eternal peace. As some of you have noticed, I haven't been too active on the forum lately. Well she was one of the reason, I didn't have the passion for life I usually have with her lying in bed not hardly knowing what was going on around her. Once I pass this grieving stage, perhaps I can get back into life with a good heart. She will be missed that's for sure, but her clocked has stopped an I can accept that, it will just take a little time to get myself together. To all my figs4fun friends, those I've met face to face, and those I've only met here on line, thanks for all the prayer, well wishes and condolences. Having friends like y'all only make this easier, as I know I don't carry all the burden. She has run the race and run it well, and God in his mercy allow her to go peacefully while she slept. Never did she suffer any pain or was a burden to any one of us. She was as common a person as you could ever meet and never met a stranger. When I told her I had discovered that she actually had relatives that were some of the first settlers that came to America and founded Jamestown she didn't quite understand. Then when I told her that she was related to the Queen of England and had royal blood in her veins she couldn't imagine that. She just thought of herself as a humble housewife and mother, but to me she is a Queen, the Queen of my world. I'm am nothing except for her. Once more, thanks to all, and thanks to God. Gene my thoughts and prayers are with in your time of need!! I just lost my uncle sonny on sunday night to a massive heart attack I feel your pain brother!! I can tell you one thing for sure they are both in a better place now and we will sooner or later be able to reunite with them at some point in the future. Gene, I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mother. The fact that she 'never met a stranger' reminds me of my mom who passed just a couple years ago. It's one of those things you know is coming eventually but that certainly doesn't make it any easier when the time does come. Hello Will, I'm sorry you lost your Uncle Sonny last evening. God bless you and yours at this sad time. My sister, Mary Lou, died on the 6th of May and I'm still reeling from her loss even though it wasn't really unexpected. Thanks for the love Gene and Noss it means alot to me God bless you guys!!!! Uncle Sonny was a hardcore italian to the bone and LOVED his figs we pounded down a couple trays of figs together this past summer!!!! I'll miss him but I'm comforted by the fact that he is in a better place now!!!! Once again thanks for the kind words guys!!!!
