Yes I am going to  Venice Italy then cruising to the Greek islands for my honeymoon hopefully I can get some cuttings I am leaving August 3rd The wife will love that fig hunting on our honeymoon. For better or worst she  said I Do

haha, yup for better or for worse. I'd say fig hunting is the "for better" category.

Nice looking fig Paul and a nice tree growing it. For better or worst eh, well it looks like you're getting things right from the beginning if that's the wifey on the lawn tractor. Way to go man, ha.

What a gorgeous color on the Fracazzano! If it tastes as good as it looks, it is definitely a winner.

Re: fig hunting in Europe...been there and done that, as they say, and what a great activity it is. Have a blast!

hey paul,

is it normal you only had one fruit or did you remove all others?

congratulation btw and enjoy the cruise and greece...i would concentrate more on beer, sea food, fish, tsiziki etc if i was you...and of course ozo.....opa!

Yes I picked the small fruit off I Left two to ripen I also cut the leafs on the bottom. Its a young tree in a small container. I will re pot it  for next year in a bigger pot. I will definitely have ouzo and eat all the great foods
