Ate the very last of all the breba figs today. The last one hanging on my VDB had both ants and even a little mold on it. Brushed it off and ate it anyway. (The one in the picture is a better looking one from the other day!)
Now have to wait for the the main crop figs to ripen. All of my little trees combined have more than 200 figs on them. Okay, so I actually did try to count them all. Is that so wrong? When one is dealing in ounces, rather than pounds, I think not.
I thought the figs in the second picture were pretty. No, I will not send this fig if you can guess what it is! :)

Well Cathy, you are right! It's got a pretty distinctive look. I think I can look at maybe 4-5 different kinds of figs now, and take a stab at guessing what they are. You are probably miles ahead of me! By the way, I reallly like the pictures of your birds on your website. They are beautiful!
Rafed, they both should look really familiar to you. Thanks ever so much for your generosity. I am working on some air-layers of the VDB now, so I can share him, too.

Hi AnnieBee,
I'm not a world ahead of you but more than likely right there beside you on these figs.  Thanks for the compliment on the website.  I have to admit - I cheated on your question.

Martin,
It is possible that I did see that movie this weekend! Must have crept into my vocabulary unnoticed!
Did you not just love the tuxedo he wore in that scene?

Cathy, had I known, would have labeled it as 'Brown Turkey!' ;)

Hi AnnieBee,
It would be funny to offer a fig for anyone who can id it and label the picture,
"no cheating".
