Got a plant earlier this year from an elderly Italian family down the street from my parents house. When asked what variety it was he said I do know is black and taste is Bellissimo lol so I was ok ill take it and im glad I did. Here are the photos of the Breba & Leaves will post pics of Main crop in a couple weeks when they ripen.

Dom I was thinking the same, I do have a Sal's Corleone but have not gotten any breba's. Although the leaves do look allot alike at this point. This is the best tasting breba I have ever sampled.

Nelson, is he growing it in ground, and if so does he cover it?
Has the open eye given you any problems so far?

My first impression was also that it is of the Sal(C) type. Shape, stem, eye and meat are similar.

Bob, although this fig ripened during a rainy period it was perfectly hidden under some leaves. I dont think it really got hit with much rain because the eye was indeed open. Thanks George I will keep a close eye on the sal's C and this one and compare the two.
