Although i do not want to rush Father Time as im getting older i actually would like to slow it down, but as i was listing a few items and amongst my fig trees cutting them i realized hey it may only be
50-55 days till i hopefully start my annual Dance i like to call
the "Fig Shuffle".

Earliest for me was March 12th then of course mother nature dumped snow on us the first week of April that year and i had to hide them for a bit back in the garage.
Little by little im getting back into it.

Hi Westcoast,

Martin,

The first week of February should be our last frost. By the third week fig buds should be swelling open. How long is that? ;-))

Not sure i  have to look at the tree to see if it needs a haircut.

It's on the other wall and i have to move a few large pots to get access to them but we got a heavy downpour last night with thunder and lightning which is uncommon here in January and it melted all the snow directly in front of that side of the door.
Heck my shed door is almost uncovered where i keep my mix and fert.

So now all i have to do is pull a few large containers out of garage and i can look.

If you are giving haircuts I need one too :)

It has been freaky warm this winter, the ground just froze finally and I think it is going to thaw right back out with that warm front headed this way.
