I had the best ever fig, but don't know what it is. It was a large fig, all uniformly light green on the outside and had no blemishes on the skin. My dad got the figs from a friend's backyard in San Diego and we gobbled them up before taking any pictures. It did not have any seeds. It was sweet, but not jam-my. I think the inside flesh was amber and the outside skin was somewhat fleshy. Problem is my dad doesn't remember anything at all about those figs. Any help on a fig that would describe this awesome fig.

Ask your Dad to request cuttings from his friend and either root them yourself or ask forum friends here to root them for you. We reaally need to see the leaf patterns of the tree and fruit size, weight, etc of the figs for good identification. Hopes this helps. cheers,
