Thanks Bob! I couldn't wait to open those boxes! You said you would include Desert King cuttings, but I didn't expect four! Thanks so very much! Now I just need to figure out which end is up. LOL! No growth tips make it a little harder. And thanks for the surprise fig tree. For those of you reading this, who weren't in the PM loop, Bob ran out of one of the trees I wanted. I ordered 4. He had 3, so I told him to surprise me. He kept his mouth shut, and today I got the surprise! Unknown OC "Hearty Flavor." This is a great surprise, and I cant wait to try the figs! All my trees were well packed and in good healthy condition. I think they will be happy here! They were really happy to get out of the boxes! The others Bob sent to me were Binello, Paradiso, and LSU Gold. Paradiso didn't have a name stake, but since it was promised, I'm sure I can tag it Paradiso. This is such a great forum with so much information. I'm going to love that Unknown OC "Hearty Flavor" Fig for sure! Suzi

DesertDance , you can look at your old leaf scars on your outdoor plants to compare to your scionwood. Here at 11 O'clock you can see a leaf scare and the general shape to help you which is up . Click to enlarge to see it .

http://figs4fun.com/Var_U_info.html#UNKNOWNOC is the link. "Hearty Flavor" is Jon's description Glad you like them. The paradiso tag is green and pushed down in the soil near the edge of the pot. They probably all need to be up-potted anyway. You should find it when you do that. Since it's early in the season and they're growing really fast I'd go for at least a 5 gal pot.
