i'm noticing that branches on my cuttings are rather "funny". what i mean is that the point where the branches are coming out of the cutting is thinner than the towards the terminal bud. they all look like upside down coke bottle.

will the contact point thicken as time goes by? maybe i'm fertilizing too much and new growth is going too fast?

I would guess that the plant is stronger and more vigorous now then when it made the buds.
