This is an unknown green fig. Most of the figs on this tree(about 25) are rolling along.  Just finishing up the last of my checks before going to work and I noticed this fig on the tree.

Am I doing something wrong to this tree? Id like to nip it in the bud if its something that can be corrected. This tree has one unripe breba and all of the main crop figs are about this size.  I did lightly squeeze this fig to see if it was rotting or something but its still hard as a rock.

Got the wrong guy Scott. LOL

Slingha,
It's nothing to worry about. I can honestly tell you and show you one third of my figs display this. They're just going through the cycle.

Good luck

I Do appreciate te offer but no need. Im pretty sure you've seen it all fig-wise. I was more concerned I was doing something wrong and wanted to correct it before it got worse.
