It's an awesome feeling when your about to taste the first fig from my cutting-grown-tree, its been 2 years since i took a cutting from a really old fig tree at a winery in the napa valley, finally i get a reward for babying my tree!

I don't know what type of fig it is, but i noticed a greek flag inside the winery. so it could be some type of fig from greece, but who knows.

That is a true "Legacy" tree, it would be great to get the history of it. I believe that legacy tree cuttings perform better than those from younger trees.

That is a picture perfect fig, inside and out. Maybe e-mail the winery to see if they know what type of fig it is?
