I went out there and fixed it. I took 7 leaves off, add more medium and wrapped it up. I used the handles on the grocery bags to tie it up - seemed to work well, easier then trying to tie the string on it. Then wrapped in foil.

Looks good. That's a nice, healthy tree. I'm sure it will work. Good luck with it JoAnn. Next year you will likely be airlayering a lot more as I think you will like the results.
