I collected some very nice Camellia seeds today. I’ve beaten the squirrels this year!
Usually they get all the seeds and bury them all over the yard and I have to pull the seedlings year long. So yes, most likely most of them are viable.
The mother tree had nice pink flowers but nearby there are white, dark red, and light red Camellias of different shapes so the outcome, like with the figs, is unpredictable.

If you want the seeds, please PM me. Shipping is $6, that’s all I ask in return.

Thanks, all! The seeds are claimed.

My trees are old and big and produce the seeds all the time.
If somebody wants them and I know upfront, I would cover them with the organza bags to collect.
So, please let me know.
