I think it wants more light, a bigger pot and some fertilizer :)

Nice effort growing it indoors and get it going now so when spring comes it can take off outside. I do agree with the need for a larger pot and more light, but light indoors in winter is a tough thing to have. Just grow it on for now and acclimate it slowly in spring to a full sun location.

For a cold hardy fig that can be planted outside look at hardy chicago. my tree is small yet this is its second winter but this summer i had 20 figs. and they taste great to boot. click for larger view
