Totally unexpected surprise I received in the mail today 

I gave one of my nephews a fig tree a couple of weeks ago as he wants to get into the hobby and low and behold he sent me this wonderful cookbook titled Fig Heaven it has 70 recipes in it I am going to have to up my fig production so I can try some of these recipes

It's always nice to see a family member or a friend get interested in this great hobby.  It usually starts by giving someone a tree.  We received a little fig tree 6 years ago from a friend, and look where it's taken us since then.  I have a list of friends, neighbors, and relatives who have asked for a "first time" fig tree for this spring, so who knows where it will go from here.  Best wishes to you and your nephew.

I just looked at the Table of Contents on Amazon.  Yup, I gotta get this book.  The recipes names look fantastic!  Thanks for posting Dave.
