Well, we had near freezing temps last night. All the potted plants were left outside and uncovered. My theory that the cement slab would absorb enough heat to carry them through proved correct. You have to love microclimates. Looks like winter is over!

I sure hope so.  Our forecast last night called for 36 but only dropped to 39.  Tomorrow is our official frost free date yet the low tonight is supposed to be 34.  That darn global warming anyway.

looks like it will be very close to spring here also. but looks like they are calling near freezing weather for another two weeks before it will stay above 40. can't wait to get them out of the garage. and i need to move my old 1 gal pots to larger one soon. i need more 1 gal pots..

Pete...try the greenhouse megastore for those 1gal. pots...I got a pretty good price from them back in the winter...and fast shipping.

i get them for about .69 each. but i have 30 of them with last spring's cuttings all grown. need to move them to 3-5 gal and reused them for winter cuttings. 11 are moved, but i still have to move 15 or so. i'm just dragging my feet.

Check for Nursery suppliers in your area. I get one gallon pots for 24 cents if I buy the whole 81 pot stack. They are blow molded but great for first pot. This is not the wholsale price just a discount.
