Found another ripe Ronde de Bordeaux.  One fig - 4 mouths.  Everyone obviously wanted more.

Frank,
The more I work with RdB the more convinced I am that it is the best all round fig I have.
Cute little ankle nippers.

Delicious looking fig.  The little ones sure look like they enjoyed it.  Smart to train them young so they can baby sit the figs when necessary.

More likely they will learn to pick and eat the figs before dad gets home :)

It's always fun to share with the kids, and for them broadens their experience. Everyone wins.

Gloria,
I wish my kids DIDN'T like figs ;-)
Actually, out of 3 kids (and a wife), only one of the kids likes figs.  Because of that, she only thinks I'm a little crazy.  The others think I'm a lot crazy!

Thank you all for the nice comments.  I love watching my family enjoy figs as much as I do.  I'll admit there are some days I wish they didn't like figs.  ;)  But that's the selfish side of me.

Frank, the Figgy-

Children are so innocent and so adorable.  Truly, precious gifts from God.  Enjoy both figs and your kids....but the kids more....they grow fast.

Thanks for sharing the pics.

Very cute kids Frank, how could they not like such a tasty looking fig? My kids like figs too. Maybe next year I will have more to share with them, I've been somewhat selfish with the few I'm getting now ;)
