From Suzi.  I sleep, I dream, and what do I dream?

This is real and what I dream.

I know the meaning.

I went away, and somehow forgot this little baby boy, and he is still alive, and how could I forget him?  But I somehow forgot, and I know I can't give him too much liquid, so I give him a little, and I try to save that little sweet!  How could I forget this kid?  He is mine!!  This is the story of my cuttings, and it manifests in my dreams, and I'm so torn between two houses and remodeling, and cuttings trying to live, and me torn.

That dream is every night, and sometimes it's figs with roots with HUGE fungus gnats.  I think I will lose a lot of cuttings that you have sent, and I'm sorry.  I just don't have time to deal with it.  They are in their cocoons, but I am not hovering like I should.

Best that you send me no cuttings for a while, and what you sent, please pray for those cuttings.

Suzi

really? If your not joking. Im sure if the plant dies. other members on the forum would give you new cuttings. Its just wood have fun with it. no matter if it dies many times you can still get more. not a big deal. this might be more about the move than the fig. try and have fun with it. life is short

Better to start with small trees or rooted cuttings as small boys often require lots of care.

If you lived near by you could stop by and pick up a VDB and an LSU Gold.

Suzi - for any cuttings that haven't been started - put them in the fridge!!!!

I ran out of room in the house a couple months ago, then we got the puppy.  Out of the first 25 or so trees that went into cups, I lost about 6 - 1 from the first batch and about 5 from the batch with a TON of roots, go figure.  I've had more in the bins that weren't ready yet and I have to admit since we got the puppy I have not been as diligent with them as I was before the puppy, as a result I have lost a few more cuttings.  I still have a bunch in the fridge - from Jon, my own families tree!! and others I don't remember what.  I will start putting them outside in the shade tomorrow and cross my fingers!
