I have a spot right on the southeast side of my house, the fig trees would be right on the wall to get all the heat from the house. I have some stawberrys planted planted on this side. I'm getting strawberrys right now, while on a different part, they are in the middle of flowering. I am in zone 6a in Western Massachusetts, would i have to protect my figs? I have hardy cultivars like MBVS and Hardy Hartford and also the Anna Bronx White.

Might have to protect them.  But that sounds like the right idea (out of the wind, near a heat sink).  Depends on other factors like moisture too.  (Search on winter protection).  I'd probably still protect them by wrapping in the winter, at least until they've got a few years in-ground there.  After they've matured there you might get by without additional protection (maybe).
