Here's some new variegation on one of my panache trees.  I cut it way down in the fall for cuttings and this year, the leaves look healthier, but now this variegation.  This tree has FMV so probably caused it.

I don't think that's FMV, especially the nearly white patch.  Cicada and chimera resonate so it's the increased cicada activity causing the increased chimeric activity.

It was a joke.  That white patch looks more like Jolly Tiger than Panache.

It looks to me like the leaf stem is variegated too, like the branch stripe ran out onto the leaf. Neat stuff.

Here is leaf #2 which is three leaves up from the first variegated one on the same branch.   The first picture is what it looks like today. The second picture is what it looked like 6 days ago.  All the other leaves look all green but various types.   This tree has probably every shape (1 lobe, 2 lobe, 3 lobe, 4 lobe, 5 lobe) and  every shade of leaf on it from light to dark.

Rcantor: yup, cicadic resonance increasing chimeric activity.   REason just as good as any.
