Here it is,on the plate,a few of each:
Most numerous:Malta Black,Adriatic jh,and the rest ,a couple of each:Violette de Bordeaux Ronde de B.,
Vasilika Sika,Nero 600m,i had one LSU purple,one Longue D'Aout,probably under it can't be seen.!
Before today i had fruits in the order of 5 or six a day.
Not bad for ,starting from ground level but not enough to make fig jam.
In the past i had years i collected one gallon a day,but last 4   years much less due to cool rainy Summer or harsh Winters.[image]

More than I got from 2nd year plants and probably way better too! Sorry they got killed.

I hear you it rain the entire month of June and half of July in Vermont. Still looks like a great dinner to me! We can always hope for a mild winter this year, and warm summer next year :)

I think we had a pretty good summer in Colorado.  Someone (me) just failed to take advantage of it.  I waited way too long to bring the trees out of the garage this year, since I wanted to bare-root them.  I haven't had a ripe fig, yet.  There are many green ones hanging on the trees, but last night we had to break out the blankets.  A few should ripen, but I think it is the beginning of the end of season.

There is always the hope of "next year".

Not Ripe yet,--It had incipient fruits on JuNE 17,and is well ahead but not ripe yet.
The plant is in ground.

That's impressive VS. I've been picking Black Jack figs daily. Along with Strawberry (the heirloom, not Green Ischia) and Improved Celeste. I didnot winterize my Sal's Coreleone the past years and man I tell you what! That fig tree is pretty hardy! And this year with a lack of rain, the figs are one of my best rich tasting figs. Years past, the figs would split and sour but not this year. It is one impressive fig tree that I will winterize going forward.

I was given two young fig plants last yearand they really grew this year with one plant putting on 4 figs. Right now they are no bigger than my thumb. Is this common?
