this is a small 'Hardy Chicago' fig (originally from Etna volcano in Sicily). I wanted to sell it on ebay as it is a duplicate (someone from here  gave me a larger one I have in a 2 gallon pot). But I saw that this 12 inch tall plant in a small pot is already bearing figs... I will keep it. Originally bought from Hirts gardens ( a mericloned plant), last year. It was really small I was disappointed but seems fast growing, with their LSU purple I bought this with.

wish list:  nothing. i can't grow cuttings  . right now, i have  6 trees showing no signs of fmv. i'd like to keep it that way'

i was told that if i couldn't deal with fmv, i should grow peaches, so i got a peach tree to live with my clean figs.

I got mine four years ago from hirts but mine I don't think was a microclone as it was a single stick a foot tall with a single termanal bud at the top. Looked like a rooted cutting to me but I orderd it in feb and it was dormant when I got it. Its four foot tall with about 100 figs on right now. I just posted pics in another topic about shade talerant figs.

I got a Hardy Chicago and Magnolia from Hirt's this year. They were tiny, but healthy. They have grown a lot and look great. Can't beat the price either.
