these hotels are all within 6 miles from the Center.
The Holiday Inn does offer a discount if you tell them your are here for the FIG GIG. I thimk the discount motels are around $50 but I am not sure. There is also a Hampton and a Comfort Suites and we are trying to get a discount at both. NO RECOMMENDATIONS OR LIABILITY FOR THE LIST.
We are moving along and the word is out in 4 states.
Hope we can draw a good crowd from our members.
We have had a bumper crop of figs this past two weeks, don't know what will be available for 10 August. Current price at local farmers markets is $5 lb. Celeste and BT trees are selling at $10 per gallon (trade pot size) if the tree size matches the pot.
