Costco had figs for sell, very good price. But they were hard, there was a package already opened. So the question is - if you pick figs not completely ripe, will they continue to ripening?

I was in Costco yesterday and saw the same fig and past for the same reason. i pick them up, had them in the basket, then they went back.

figs do not ripe after taken off the tree. it needs to be ripen on the tree. and it doesn't keep well off the tree.

those may b ok,for jam and preserves but may b too underripe for even thay

sometimes stores bring ok figs tho this season
i got decent kadotas at iranian store

One of the things l learned today was.... when you pick a fig...if you see any type of oozing or latex, at the tip of the stem, then the fig is Not ripe! Thanx Sir! :D
