it wasn't hard to airlayer. but for whatever reason, it took much longer to get to the point where i would like to take it off the tree. i don't do airlayer too often. only did 4 or so in last 3 yrs. very first one died within few weeks, hence the reason for keeping it with me for a month to make sure this one lives. the tree came to me as rooted cutting from a very generous forum member, so.. not sure if this variety is hard to root or not. __________________ Pete Durham, NC Zone 7b "don't talk to me about naval tradition.
