I think the figs like the location. Full sun, on concrete patio. Barry says I can leave a couple on. It is pushing a lot of figs. Also have figs on my Atreano (stick from Driveway Farmer). And on Pete's Timlight. This is fun!

Donna,

My Sunfire is one of my five best growers and has figs as well.  It is also a yearling and I can't wait to see how well it does in high heat and humidty.  Hope it turns out to be a winner here.

Donna,

Yes ma'am, started 1-26-13.  I will try to get a photo in the next few days.  I think I had previously referred to it as "figzilla" or something along those lines.  It will probably be the first cutting I started this year that really needs to go to a 5+ gallon pot/bucket before the end of summer.

Here you go Donna.  Dang, didn't write this one down, but I assume I up potted to 1 gal pot around mid-March.  Then 1 to 3 gal pot on 5-3-13.  The cutting was started with DipnGrow.  Cutting length from soil line ~ 6 inches.  Tree height now from soil line ~34 inches.

Hi Steve,

That is one fine looking plant.

Mine has 2 stems but it's not nearly as big as yours. Also your "trunk" looks more mature, my 2 stems are still green. Also your figs are much further along. I wonder if this is because you are at a lower latitude?

Yes Barry but they keep whining:

"I wanna go home to Algon Ave, I wanna go home to Daddy!"

Just tried my first one and it is excellent. Lingering aftertaste, too.
