I'm happy to say that all of the cuttings of the 5 varieties of figs that I have received from Jon have roots and leaves and are growing quite nicely in quart containers of perlite.

Life's good today.

I'm still in spagnum moss with most of the cuttings but a Black Madiera that I was very excited about is in the cupping stage and looking good. I had one very big disappointment with a single Col De Dame Gris that I was lucky enough to get. It never got going and I babied it to no avail. I cut it shorter twice, but it didnt root and faded away. It was in the same tub as a St. Rita that I babied too and that Saint is doing nicely. I received two Col De Dame's  from UCD and am hoping my luck changes on this variety.
Does anyone know which Col that is from UCD?
Cheers,
Coop
