Hi Marius,

Did your Petite Aubique suffer from FMD?  I received cuttings from Jon this year.  One survived and about all I can say for it is it has a highly deformed leaf.  It is a long way from producing like your pictures.  I'm not sure it really even has a branch, yet.

Thanks,
~james

I've been contemplating what to do with it, but I suppose I'll wait to see how it does next year.

Aubique Petite was sent to me by Doctor Leon Deprest, and he got it from Pierre Baud Nursery.
It had a mild case of virus, not the virus type the Ischia Black is infected with.
That was at the time I got cuttings from Dr Leon.
Marius,Again, your results in your climate this year are much better than mine.
To date I only harvested a couple of Aubique P,and 4 Nero 6ooM.
Extremly bad climate here, yet Nero 600M,does sour less than any other I have.
Now all I got to do is ,dig a handful of other varieties that sour more often and plant Nero 600m.
This hobby never let me get bored! LOL

I have an aubique petite in transit to me right now but I still would really like to find a Nero 600m. Maybe one of these days I'll get one.

Marius, thanks for allowing me(& family) to sample this variant at your place last year. It was excellent and so were H.Chicago and VdB. After sampling how good Mt.Etna type figs at your place, I started to grow them like you do in big bins. It was a success & I had a good harvest. Fully agreed that PA is a must have variant. Its brebas were excellent too.
