After awhile, at last I see the result today....... That my first air layer (white genoa fig) is almost ready....
Can't wait to plant it in the pot.... And wait my other air layer.....
I do it without strip the skin and the branch is still green when I do the air layer.
Hope all my other air layer will have the same result.

Thanks God

Congratulations on your first air layer! Remember to let as many roots to develop so it can support the top growth. When you cut it from the mother tree it's best to keep it in the shade to help reduce the shock from being severed. If it wilts too bad, remove a few leaves to help reduce water loss.
Best of luck!

@ Kevin.... I'll post the way how I do the air layer, I learnt it from the webs too.... The mother tree is about 1 m high.
Here is the link of the way they do the air layer (sorry for the native language, not in English) i do exactly like that
Minus the skin off the branch....

Ong888 that was an interesting video. It looks to be a neater way than how I do it. I'll have to try that method of air layering next year.

Thanks Pete ..... I'll keep posting the update pics after 1 week and so..... But so far right now, the 3 leaf that near to the root base is look fresh now..... And the tips is still green even it's still look droopy. Finger cross, in couple more day the tips will get fresh again......
@ mocatta, for right now I don't yet what the white genoa going to taste like. Because the tree I have is still very young and just air layer. Hopefully in couple more months will grow big enough to produce fruits.... Then I'll inform you ASAP when I get the taste of the fruits.....
