Are there any Florida fig collectors on this forum? I am especially interested in the Tampa Bay area. I have 8 fig trees that I need to give away due to moving and not having room for. They include Black Jack, LSU Purple, Black Mission, Petite Negra, Desert King, Lindhurst and one I can't identify. Most are in 7 gallon containers.

I live I Pasco County near Hwy 54 and the Suncoast Parkway. I would prefer one person take all.

They are like roaches on this forum, Cptndon. I'm sure one or two will poke his/her head into the light after learning about fig tree offers. Don't take my attitude as a reflection on their persons, though. I'm just envious of their growing conditions at this time of year and I'm lashing out. You guys are still sampling ripe figs while I'm hoping my three in-ground figs fight off the below zero temps we're supposed to see in three days and the skeletonized fig forest in my garage slumbers for another four months.

Neil is crushed that Wills failed to see the fabulously witty humor of his post...and gets down on his knees to beg forgiveness for Wills' humor-related shortcomings. It's all my fault!

You surely must be suffering from some bad thinking, your priorities need an alignment, must be the sun down there.  Rent a larger truck or seriously rethink what you need to move.

Good luck on your rehab.

Did this post land on the right thread?

Don't take the posts between me and Wills seriously. We don't. Plus, this thread last saw a post 2.5 weeks ago.
