Sounds dumb but I can't tell. It seems to be on all four of the cuttings I got. Its a hard white substance that seems to be on all the spots where a leaf once was. I can scrape off with my finger nail. Pulled threebout and gave a light scrubbing with a toothbrush under running water.

Can't tell for sure from the photo. Sure it isn't dried fig sap? Apply peroxide, bleach, physan, etc. in case it is mold and you should be ok.

It could be. I'm really not sure. I'm trying to decide if I should clean with anti - bacterial soap or just leave it alone.

i don't think they are mold. molds are typically fuzzy. white or grey in color.
