true, but that will cause too much moisture in the bin.

LOL, Pete, moisture CAN'T reach more that 100% in any given situation, think of Zip_lock.

also true, problem is if the buds that just broke out stay in that 100% humidity, they will rot. i like my bin at RH of around 70% :)

are you serious? I thought rot starts at contact with walls of the bag or anything that makes the humidity dome. As long as the growth doesn't touch the walls or anything solid while in humidity it should be fine to my knowledge.

Hey Pete I bought 50 of those plastic bins at home depot. That's how many I fit in them until they start growing out and eventually you have to pot them up.

aaron,

they don't have to touch anything. think about it. bud is tender vegetative growth. with enough heat and moisture, it will rot. next time it happens, i'll post a pix.

The only incident I had with welting was when (i thought) the growth was touching the plastic wall of the zip-lock. anyway, nowadays I'm not even waiting for roots to grow longer then 1/4 inch, i plant them directly into one gallon nursery black pots. Thanks for the info though.
