Off topic, but after 3glasses of great red wine ( Dennis, you know what I mean), and I'm sharing with my fig friends:
What's as good as perfectly ripe fig? " the ripeness is all" (shakespeare; King Lear)
Grilled ribeye with the right amount of sea salt and Marie Sharp's hot sauce.

With a good grilled steak in mind, I'll share this photo of a couple of venison steaks on the grill with Cabela's Open Season rub.

Usually if I'm doing wild game on the grill I prefer preparing it with a marinade but this was excellent!

Ripeness is all-I love that line. Also, "Out vile jelly" and "get thee to a nunnery." Enjoy the steak and vino!

venison.. had ton, but cooks sucked. they over cook them to death. i mean, they are dead already. if some one want to a distance to kill a noble animal, least they can do is cook 'em so we can enjoy it. then again.. we were always drunk while cooking them.

King Lear "Men must endure their going hence as their coming hither. The ripeness is all"

Speaks to living a full life and being ready to move on.

Also true with figs
