First LSU Purple to ripen. It is quiet small but have a number of others swelling and turning that appear
to be a good bit larger. This fig was quiet sweet and not really figgy but jammy, berry like. Maybe a 7 on a 1-10. Will update when the others get ready.

7/10 sounds like a keeper to me.  I have a few of these that I started this year.

Brian, I hope the next ones are even better. BTW, another larger Thibodeaux turned dark brown/purple and fell of. I cut it open and it was solid white
and very firm. Not edible.

I got a few off my LSU purple, I'm not sure how old it is but its about 4' tall, an they were pretty good, I can't wait to see how good they get in the future. I'm probably going to put it in the ground this coming spring.

Had another today and we are slowing improving. Little sweeter and less watery. This looks like one that you have to
leave on the tree until it falls off. I really thought this one would be at its max but, NOT. Compared to the first this gets a 7.5
with about five or so more ripening.

It's a little disappointing that it looks like a 10 but doesn't taste like it. Beautiful fig!

Tami, that is exactly what I thought. I am not going to send it away yet. Cajunb above said on a mature tree he gave it a 9.5
My tree is three years old so a ways to go.

Grant, sorry but I can answer that. Didn't leave  the few it had on to ripen. It is a three year old tree but I have only had it for one fruiting season.

Thanks Mike,
mine is showing signs of breba, I think I'll take them off and go for main.
