http://www.lubera.com/de/shop/gustissimo-rossa-rotonda_produkt-181.html Looks likes they might have some information on this variety, Gustissimo® Rossa Rotonda is the name they sell it by, I also see it in some czec sites. Almost looks like ronde de bordeaux but I doubt if this is the case.

Luke, I've never heard of Rossa Rotonda, but the fig looks like Ronde de Bordeaux... at the bottom of this webpage, http://www.figuiers.com/plants-de-figuiers.html , in a Forum Topic, http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/post?id=5885456 and as shown in this video...
Pictures of the leaves would also help in the ID. Good Luck. .

I have a ronde so i guess I will compare it when it arrives, thanks for the links both.

Did anyone ever find out if the Rossa Rotonda was the same as Rouge de Bordeaux?
