Was soft and tender, no crunch, sweet and refreshing. The skin has a different taste than the heart, less intense I would say. I believe it was ripe since no latex was visible after cutting. That was only one breba but the tree has about 25 main crop figs, still quite small.

I posted an Adriatic breba photo a few days ago, this one is sweeter a bit but probably because it is riper.
They were both good.

Is that a LSU Golden Celeste / Champagne or the UCD Golden Celeste?
It resembles the Champagne main crop. Thanks.

I obtained two cuttings from Jon last year:     A2304  Golden Celeste 
It could be the Champagne as you say but I cannot confirm or deny it. Maybe Jon has any info about the last year’s cuttings?

Those cuttings were the most vigorous figs for me. One is about 5 ft tall with multiple branches and covered in figs.
