This will be the 4th year that will be getting together, meet and exchange figs, and sharing knowledge and tips.
Date Sunday : 6/2/2013 at 10:30 ( if it's raining we may reschedule to the 9th)
Place: Bethlehem, pa

In my signature line under wish list, I would say that Niagara Black would be be first on my list then Long d' Aout. I am pretty sure the Col De Dame Gris will be taken
care of later this year. How about you Ed. Anything special on your list?

Yes I'm coming and my brother Angelo and maybe my nephew Joe.
I'll bring cookies and a assortment of figs trees, Black Zadar for Dan- Italian 258 for Marcus.
Ed if you want the Black Madeira and  Malta Black I will bring it for you? they are small.

Rumors of me singing and dancing are incorrect, I gave that up when I started growing figs. Hey it's our wedding anniversity I have to find a way to convince my wife that a fig meeting is a good way to spend the day, any suggestions?

Excuse me Barry, the song and dance info is not a rumor, it is an official proclamation, from Bass no less. So we will all be waiting. As for the Anniversary Enticement, I'll say it again: Romance in the Poconos.

I am a newbie so do not have a lot of figs, but I have a couple of extra Angelo's Dark and Owensboro. I will bring some kind of fig food item.

Gang, I will be there this year.  I'l bring some small trees and maybe a couple of 2 footers.

Donna, I hope I get lucky and winner one of your trees.  I haven't been successful getting my hands on an Angelo's Dark and Owensboro.  I'm driving up from Charlotte but I will pickup a fruit tray from a local grocer.

Vito, sorry to hear about your nephews losses.  He is one of the few people that lives closer to the ocean than me.  If anyone comming has a marylane please bring it and I will take care of your nephew.  I promised him one last september but mine was washed away.  Also if anyone who will be at the gathering has any trades lined up with me please remind me via pm or e-mail.

Thank you all for coming and sharing all these fig trees. Everyone brought fig trees and good food. I proved to my wife that I'm not the only figaholic.

Thank you Bass, It was a great time and it was good to see everyone and meet some new people. Thanks, to Dan, Dom, Tim, Vito,Ricci, Lou, Jimmy, Andrew and everyone else for bringing so many figs and different foods to try. I think I may have stuck orignal plan of coming home with less that I brought which was very hard to do, but necessary...

PS. I thought that the fig cheese was quite good, I liked the sharp after taste.

Bass is a great host, his home is a wealth of fruit trees and other assorted green things. Had a great time, really enjoyed everyones company, meeting new people and seeing old friends. I went with 10 fig trees and came home with 10 different trees, thats pretty funny

It's really nice to meet so many fig members. My baby have fun playing with the Bass's kids and the cat. Great food and came hom with a lot of plants. My lot is 100x 300. I definately will turn it into an orchard like Bass's.

I see that Bass's NE fig meet is getting better each time.

Sorry, I could not attend this one; maybe? next year.

I can see (pic) Vito sitting in his 'favorite spot/chair' enjoying some chat with fig friends...

With permission from the photographer you could d/l the photo and use an editor to label people.  Even a colored dot or square next to them and text below the photo:
