Hey y'all! I'm new to this forum and it is amazing. I am going to be moving to SE Washington (Zone 6a) and was hoping I could get some recommendations on what varieties would grow best. I am interested in Brooklyn White, LSU Purple, and Hardy Chicago. Any and all feedback is much appreciated. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum Josh, Hardy Chicago and Brooklyn White are good choices. There are many more that I'd pick over LSU Purple. Violet de Bordeaux would be a good choice if you are growing in pots.

Where in SE Washington? I know of one Brunswick tree in Walla Walla that is about 90 years old. Brunswick is one of the few varieties that can tolerate the Winters once established. Unless you are willing to grow them in pots and move the pots indoors over Winter, all I can do is wish you luck because you'll need it! Happy Growing, kiwibob, Seattle

I'll be in Pullman. I am planning on growing in pots, but was hoping to have one tree in the ground. Thanks for all the feedback so far.

if you ever come up to Seattle, I am happy to share a fat airlayer with you of my purple unknown. It is very hardy here in Seattle, was never protected and yes, tons of brebas and main crop. I get ripe figs all the way through November. it should do well for you over there. At the end of the season, I knock the small ones out and cut some of the leaves... it seems to work for the tree to ripe many main figs. look me up and you will see pictures of it.
