Got my first fig from my father in law about 14 years ago. Last year I had 8 trees, 1 Turkish Brown, 2 black, 2 larger yellow, 2 white and 1 green. Everything is in the ground except the green. This year I gave some away to make room for cuttings I bought on line. A LSU Gold, Conadria and Black Mission. Attached are the fruits of my labour, 1 LSU and 2 Conadria's, only the Black Mission has not sprouted, yet! My last cutting for the Black Mission is trying to root. Do I give up or keep trying? Bernie welcome to the Forum, on rooting cuttings, its a learning process. I have lost so many its not funny. If I were you I would look up propagating figs on Youtube and also look up rooting cuttings on this forum. If you lose the Black Mission don't worry, I will be getting some from the neighborhood in a few weeks, and can ship you some.
