Thanks to JD's generosity I received a JH Adriatic in today's mail. It was packaged perfectly and looks great. Just wanted to say it is much appreciated. I hope to be able to grow my collection and help other forum members in the same way. I echo your thoughts Tony. I missed out on the JH's, but he noticed my wish for a Smith and hooked me up as well. It arrived today looking very happy. I appreciate his generosity and look to being able to pay it forward as well. Jimmie is a class act guy. During the years, he has helped many members providing them with plants or cuttings. Never he boasted or even has mentioned about helping this person or that person. Much respect to you Jimmie. Navid.

If it wasn't for Jimmie, I would not be on this forum today. One day he came over to look at my meager collection of a few dozen fig trees and before I knew it, hooked me up with F4F and helped me start a fig orchard by donating dozens of trees. I could go on and on about Jimmie's generosity and untold contributions to other forum members but am sure he would want me to stop due to another quality he has...modesty. Thank you Frank, Navid, Bill, Will, and Tony for the encomium. There are a countless number of members who have shared and continue to give. We must continue to share and to pay it forward. What makes it special for me is having fun, giving, learning, laughing, and having a backyard that tastes good with a forum of friends who help me keep it that way. I also appreciate having friends who have ODC and those who have realized and manifested some part of what I think I want to do if I were crazy enough, free enough, or not working enough; seeing those post makes me shake my head and say DAMN that's good.
