Hello everyone, i am new to the forum. I lost my fig tree over the winter it was around 8-10 years old it produced a lot of figs and was very upset when i lost. I should have grown others just in case something like this happens but i did manage to save last years clipping and is starting to sprout. my question is does anyone know what fig it is i know the tree came from a cutting from Sicily thats all i know. also i am in zone 6 Northern NJ and my passion for fig trees has taken off i am on the search for multiple fig trees now and they will be potted so the can be taken in on winters. any suggestion what trees do well in zone 6. This is what my figs looked like and this is the cutting i have(cant figure out how to paste the pics) Thanks

Maltafig - you will need to use a photo editing program that can open the photo and save it as a smaller file - I think to post on the forum it has to be under 1 MB size. I take most of my pics with my iPhone and then email them to myself - the iPhone app asks what size photo I want to send and I can choose. The sent photo gets saved and used on the forum. There are numerous programs though that can do the same for your computer.
