Last year I bought a few varieties from the Portuguese island of Madeira.
But I can not confirm their true varieties name.
This is one of them, someone can tell me its name?

Helo tsang ! Welcome..

Nice fig from Madeira.
It looks like a Bebera Preta or Abebereira  fertilized with too much 'orange juice' !?

Hi Francisco, thank you for your reply.
But I also got Bebera Preta, them with a variety of appearance is very similar, but you can clearly discern the fruits have completely different traits.

Here is Bebera Preta, I still do not get ripe fruit.

Sorry for my bad english, , you say "fertilized with too much 'orange juice'" meaning excessive fertilization will cause 'orange juice'? Mean I do not understand this.

tsang,

Here a page on the forum where I have shown Bebera Preta:

As you may see the insides (pulp) of this fig are reddish.
Your fig has a yellowish pulp... so I said -joking-  may fertilized with orange juice.!

There is a black fig variety in the southern Portugal with yellowish pulp and like many other varieties it may have migrated to Madeira.

What did the source of your figs said about the variety names ??

He was joking, because the inside of the fig looked orange.  I think.
