This is my first good hollier that I was able to eat.  Last year the few figs this tree had was not edible, they started to swell but fell off before completely ripe. This year they are good and sweet, it is a really good honey type fig. I could have let it ripe another day but the ants were making their way up the tree so I took it before they did.

I will be tasting mine in a few weeks. They are large and green.
Something to look forward to.
Thanks!

Hey Ryan, that looks good. Just for comparison here is what I said about mine last year and a couple of pics. I left mine on the tree a little longer it looks like. Mine came from JR.

A very ugly fig but it is delicious. My wife and I both said it has tones of pineapple. Jammy and sweet
with a thin skin. Not watered down and no splitting. This is a keeper. I give this a 8.5 on a 1-10.

Thanks mike, I got my tree from another member who got his from JR. There is another on the tree ripening and I will try to leave it longer (even though I was completely satisfied as it was). I will try to leave it till it looks like yours.
