After a tense 3-hour long C-section, my wife and I were blessed to receive June Elizabeth. 10lbs 4.4 oz., take THAT, Genovese Nero breba! I thought I'd share our joy with the fig family. Mom and baby are bonding and resting comfortably. The same doctor delivered both our children, 3 years and 3 days apart. He had a memorable one-liner for both of them. With our son (10lbs 8.5 oz), he said "Congratulations, it's a third grader!" With our daughter last night, he said "Wow! And this is your smaller baby!"
