These just in from Wellspring.  Texas, Olympian, Ischia, VdB, as labeled ...

In their spot under the 80% shade cloth for awhile...

All other recently acquired trees doing well and leafing anew.  Even BT is recovering and some cuttings from members showing some signs of life.

Nice, Charlie. Now that the fig bug has bitten me, I am going to order a few from them too :)

Congrats on your purchase. Just got some trees from Wellspring as well. They're a bit slow to ship, but my experience with them was fairly good.

Don't let the size of these little trees, fool you.  They will grow like weeds once the roots get happy.

I ordered some 'Olympian' and 'Black Mission' from Wellspring Gdns. in the early spring, and the Olympians have started to push figs and they are over three ft. tall.  The "BM" were ordered much later in the season, and they are also growing like weeds.  The "BM" will give me figs, next season.

You may want to stake them when they really start to get taller, and pamper them over the winter.

Good luck and happy growing.

I've bought two TC figs from WellSprings, Hardy Chicago and Strawberry Verte. The HC (now 3 years old) has been a very good tree and the SV is growing like a weed. I think you will be happy with your purchase from them.
