This fig variety  is found in the moutain, Northern Thailand.
. Someone said that this is not elephane ear fig. Sweet and juicy inside fruit.

Thanks for the photos.

You know, when I see things like this it makes me wonder just what treasures, foods, fruits, aromas, animals, etc. that I will never see or even know about.   How many of us fig growers knew about this fig?  How many tasted it?

Hi Kurab

Which part of Thailand are these growing in?

I am working with several zoos in Thailand and we are planting figs as food for the captive breeding program for hornbills.

We have worked in Chang Mai, Dusit, Bangkok, and Khao Kheow Open Zoo.

its looks like very similiar with ficus auriculata
